first make your fluid first...
u can actually make an explosion using this tutorial
then make polygon.. make cube first... put that on that fluid
now select the cube/polygon u make ...
chooset soft/rigid bidues --> create active rigid body
select fluid u make --> shift select polygon --> fields --> affect selected object
to make polygon more heavy increase mass in attribute editor in maya
