DDesign is a spesification of an object,manifested by an agent, intended to accomplish goals, in a particular environment, using a set of primitive components, satisfying a set of requirements, subject to constraint (P. Raulph, Y Wand)
in other way ... design is a way to communicate an idea or concept, using design processes,elements and principles
what isn't design ?
-design is not just photoshop or any other software
-You don't need to know how to draw like an artist
-it's not all done on computer
and
- a logo without project is not design.
- design must communicate something
- "Cake design ", "hair design" don't have anything to do with "design"
and
design is not art
- Art must be interpreted, design should be understood the same way by everyone
-design can be art, but above all, it should have a function
-Art is beauty , design is aesthetic
