Area Light setting
Use Raytrace shadows
Shadows Rays = 1
Ray depth limit = 3
High sample = 32

Spot Light
Use Raytrace shadows
Angel =10
Shadow Rays = 32
Ray depth Limit = 3

Here is the result using spot light and Area Light

I think Area light is best light
 ..may be
